高帆，浙江大学研究员、博士生导师，研究方向为自守表示论。研究成果发表于Amer. J. Math., IMRN, Math. Ann., Math. Z., Memoirs of the AMS, Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.等国际著名学术期刊。
报告摘要：
For a finite-dimensional representation of a finite group, its dimension is the simplest invariant one can consider. The situation changes drastically if we consider the group of rational points of a reductive group over a local field. In this expository talk, we will discuss how to measure the size of those (usually) infinite-dimensional representations of such groups. In particular, we highlight the role of the local Langlands correspondence in this story. If time permits, I will also mention my one-cent contribution along this line.
